This spring, Remake Learning will award 100 Ignite Grants of $1,000 to support innovative learning practices, projects, and environments. Funding will support equitable learning experiences and projects that work alongside, uplift, and support learners impacted by poverty, learners of color, learners in rural areas, girls in STEM, and learners with exceptionalities. For more information, contact Colleen Smith Seeking K-12 Educators for Focus Group Location: The Corner, 701 Fifth Avenue, New Kensington Corridor of Innovation Date and Time: Tuesday, April 2 at 6 pm As part of a class project, Penn State New Kensington’s PSYCH 424 (Applied Social Psychology) students are conducting a series of focus groups exploring perceptions of The Corner in New Kensington. One of the groups will be conducted among K-12 teachers. The students are looking for K-12 teachers who incorporate entrepreneurial activities in their lessons to participate in a Teacher Focus Group to be held on April 2 at 6 pm at The Corner.
