Middle + High School: Future Ready Skills with Real World Connections Wednesday, December 8, 2021 Designed to immerse ABC CREATE Middle School and High School educators and administrators in the dynamic revitalization activities in the New Kensington region, this work session will update educators about current and upcoming opportunities with the Digital Foundry (and other PSNK Nextovation efforts). Educators will co-design future learning opportunities like professional development for teachers and field trips for students that will engage educators and students with industry professionals and with the technologies and processes available through the Digital Foundry. We want to be sure that future PD and field trips meet the needs of our ABC CREATE educators and students, so your input is imperative! 8 AM - 3 PM In-person @Penn State New Kensington Lunch will be included. We'll talk about the steps engineers take to guide them in problem solving—both in the classroom and in the field—and Sphero activities that can help students build design thinking skills.
