This award honors those who work inside and/or outside of classroom spaces to advocate for gender equity in computing by providing educational opportunities that are inclusive to--and supportive of-- women, genderqueer, and non-binary students. The award recognizes these educators for their efforts to promote gender equity in computing. Applications are now open through December 4, 2023. On January 15, 2024 our region’s leading change makers will be coming together to support this year’s theme of Transformative EdTech: Revolutionizing Learning and Work. Through the integration of educational technology, students have before them the opportunity to experience the pathway to “what is next” while in the classroom. These pathways, using new and equitable learning models, lead to networks that design a strong foundation and momentum in future careers.
